  • To be of service

This country is pretty interesting. When times are tough we all come together. The traffic in Atlanta can be a little much at times, to say the least. Everyone seems to be trying to beat everyone else to get somewhere. The other day I was driving down Ponce into Midtown and there was a traffic light out. Now this is a fairly busy road at a fairly busy time of day. I saw people very  patiently at the intersection waiting for each other and treating each other kindly. Why, when there is a problem we all face we can be kind to each other, but while living our "normal" lives we don't consider each other?

We, my wife and I, have been helping people sell their homes recently that really need to sell or move. These are intereasting times in the real estate market. It is not the easiest time to want or have to sell a home, but some people need to. We have been helping people do this and it feels good to be able to be of service and help people when they are having personnel or financial problems. One of the lessons I've learned recently is that the Real Estate business is not so much about houses, it's about people.

It feels good to be of service.

  • Behind on your mortgage

    Good morning

We are seeing a lot of activity in the Atlanta RE market right now. Some of it is from the tax credit that is to expire at the end of Nov. But we are having great success helping people that are behind on their mortgage and need or want to sell their homes quickly. Banks seem to be getting it-finally.

If you are behind on your mortgage, and want out, give us a call or shoot us an email, we can help.

  • Buyers are buying and sellers are selling

As I look around my nieghborhood here in Decatr what I am seeing is that if homes are priced right and/or favorable financing is available, then homes are selling. Period.

The homes that aren't selling are usually due to the fact that the seller has not yet come to terms with the ever changing marketplace. Looking at what properties have sold for in your own nieghborhood in the last 3-6 months should be a good indicator of your homes worth in today's market. Going back further than that does not reflect today's condition of the marketplace. If you would like more information on what your home is worth in today's market please give me a call for a free evaluation.

Our phone has been ringing everyday for the last month with buyers. People need a place to live. There is lending available for qualified buyers, and lease purchase or owner financing available for buyers that are re-establishing themselves.

Buyers today have a great opportunity to find reasonably priced homes, low interest rates and a large selection of homes to choose from. If you are interested in finding out more about being a buyer in todays market give me a call

  • What a time to be a home buyer

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- If you're thinking of buying a home, there could be a big bonus for you in the economic stimulus bill that's now before Congress.

The Senate's version of the plan sweetened the $7,500 homebuyer tax credit provision proposed by the House, doubling it to $15,000 or 10% of the home's purchase price (whichever is lower). What's more, the credit applies to all buyers - not just those purchasing their first homes.

The above information is from CNN Money.com

What does this mean for a home buyer in today's market? With home prices down and interest rates at historic lows, this incentive could bring almost one million home buyers off the fence and into the market place, according to the National Association of Realtors.

If you have questions about this program and how it can help you, call or click and I am happy to answer your questions.

  • Today's Market

Wow!  What interesting and exciting times we live in. The market today is creating itself as never before. I have my own opinions of how the world works and do not listen to media hype and political jargon. Remember statistics do not matter to the indivual. I believe we all create our own reality based on our actions and beliefs, so it is up to us as individuals to make a difference in the world. We can treat each other with kindness and integrity and that is what we will recieve back.

I have always pursued creative ways of living, and cherish the experience as much as the outcome. I am to a point in my life now where I have experience and knowledge and success in my own life, so I am now wanting to give back and share that experience and knowledge to help others. The opportunities today are many and varied if we are willing to find a way to view the situation without fear. Security comes from within and fear is based in not knowing how the future will present itself. And oh boy do we want to know and control it.

More later, just seeing how this blog thing works :)
